Matt lives in the City of Dunbar, WV and is one of the Original GrassStains. A Fireman by trade, Matt works for the St. Albans Fire Department. Matt is the Lead Singer, plays mandolin and guitar and has written most of the Stain's original material. Matt plays a mandolin that he made himself. He is a past member of The 5:15, a Charleston area Rock Band and has an extensive musical background. His distinct voice and broad range give the Stains that Innovative NewGrass sound.
